Christina S. Dooley

I am a gradaute student in the Master of Library and Information Studies program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, expected graduation date of Spring 2014. The MLIS program at UNCG is fully accredited by the American Library Assosciation (ALA).

I began the MLIS program with an interest in school media. I gravitated to information literacy with my experience in education. Through my interest in information literacy, I realized my passion lies in Metadata. I am passionate about building well-formed digital information systems and resources to ensure the creation of rich, quality information that is accurate, accessable, and interoperable through highly organized and standardized means.
